Superboss
The Mutant is the optional Demo 5 superboss found beneath Telamon. It is an endurance test: you need sustainable healing, revives and patient guarding rather than a damage race.
Universal boss tips
- Land the first hit on the overworld to enter the fight with a damage bonus.
- Pre-charge defense the turn before a known big attack instead of healing after it.
- Keep one party member free to revive; a single wipe usually ends the run.
FAQ
What is the hardest boss in Block Tales?
Most players cite the optional Mutant superboss; Frostmaw is the toughest required fight because it also asks you to protect Cassie.
How do I beat Frostmaw?
Prioritize protecting Cassie, pre-charge defense for big hits, and keep Resurrect ready. See our dedicated Frostmaw guide.
